Saints Media Black Friday 2025 Standard Web Package Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the "Black Friday 2025 Standard Web Package" (the "Package") offered by Saints Media Group ("Saints Media" or "The Company") and apply to any client ("The Client") who purchases or accepts this Package.


1. The Offer and Pricing

1.1 The "Pay What You Want" Design Fee

The Black Friday offer allows The Client to determine the final, one-time fee for the design and development of the static website component of the Package.

  • This client-determined payment covers the initial design and development service only.
  • This payment is non-refundable once development work has commenced.
  • The minimum acceptable payment for the design is R1 (One Rand) to acknowledge the commencement of a contract for service.

1.2 Required Hosting Commitment

The Package requires a non-negotiable 12-month commitment for hosting and email services.

  • The monthly recurring fee for hosting and email services is R99 per month (incl. VAT).
  • The first month's hosting fee is payable upfront alongside the client-determined design fee.
  • Failure to maintain monthly payments will result in the suspension of the website and email services.


2. Package Inclusions

The Standard Web Package includes the following services:

  • Website Design: Design and development of a up to 10-page static website.
    • Static refers to pages built with fixed content (e.g., Home, About Us, Services, Contact, etc.) that do not require a Content Management System (CMS) or database.
  • Domain Registration: Registration of one (1) new .co.za domain name for the first 12 months.
    • Renewal after the first 12 months will be billed at The Company's standard domain renewal rate.
  • Email Services: Setup of five (5) professional email addresses associated with the registered domain.

 

3. Package Exclusions and Limitations

The following items and services are NOT included in the Standard Web Package:

  • Advanced Features: No Content Management System (CMS) integration (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, etc.). No e-commerce/shopping cart functionality. No advanced interactive features (e.g., member areas, large databases, custom applications).
  • Content Creation: The Client is responsible for providing all text content, images, and logos for the 10 pages. Saints Media will not be responsible for copywriting or professional photography services.
  • Design Revisions: The Package includes two (2) rounds of minor revisions to the initial design mock-up/layout. Further revisions may be subject to additional fees billed at the Company's standard hourly rate.
  • Ongoing Maintenance: No post-launch maintenance, security updates, or content changes are included after final sign-off. These services are available via separate maintenance agreements.
  • Domain & Hosting: The Package does not include the transfer of existing domains or complex hosting migrations.


4. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide all necessary content (text, images, branding) promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Approve the design and layout within the specified timeframe communicated by Saints Media.
  • Adhere to the 12-month hosting commitment and ensure timely payment of the R99 monthly fee.


5. Intellectual Property (IP)

  • Upon full and final payment of both the client-determined design fee and all accrued hosting fees, The Client will own the copyright to the visual design and content of the website.
  • The underlying code, server infrastructure, and proprietary tools used by Saints Media remain the property of The Company.


6. Project Timeline

Saints Media will provide an estimated project timeline upon receipt of all required client content and the upfront payment (design fee + first month hosting). Delays in providing content by The Client will necessarily extend the project timeline.


7. Amendment of Terms

Saints Media reserves the right to review, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the Saints Media website, and continued use of the services by The Client constitutes acceptance of the modified T&Cs.
